Its not always nice mate, thats a myth people overseas have about Australia this summer has been really wet and we have had a lot of rain here in Sydney, Have had a few nice days though, the box jelly fish is big and the Irugangi (which is a deadly jelly fish only about 1cm long) are only found in tropical waters around North Queensland and parts of Northern Territory and thats only at certain times of the year about 6 months of the year, On the rest of the coast you have nothing too worry about most of our coastline doesnt have these so you will have plenty of safe places too dive.
