Titanium is brittle, and you really shouldn't do much prying with it. If she wants a blunt tip for safety, the tanto tip will be safer than a pointed tip knife.

I also ditto his ditto.( that didn't sound right)
I bought the titanium tanto version last year. Great knife. Very secure sheath, which clicks so you know it is secure. Fits anywhere. Easy to use with gloves on. Good edge. Very lightweight.
