The best fins for not cramping are Apollos. In the water, they are not noticeably heavy and having a slight negative buoyancy will not be noticed unless dropped or comparing to a positive buoyancy fin. Slightly negative or positive buoyancy will have little effect on the amount of work. I also have the Raptors that are about the stiffest splits = will not help as much in reducing cramping. I bought my sister the TUSA X-Pert Zooms that are similar to the Raptors, but not as stiff rails. My Apollos are the easiest to use. The best thing is to use a kick board in a swimming pool and develop the leg muscles before going out and overdoing it with fins.
