I hope for your sake that you are never in a position of feeling differently, that your luck in this life is such that you continue feeling the way you do. I'm not a bleeding heart liberal. What I realize is that we all stand to gain (yes, economically as well) by giving people more choices and chances. For instance, what do you think happens to that 46 year old carpenter with heart problems who can't get health insurance that is affordable? He drops out of the workforce 20 years too early and we ALL PAY FOR HIM when he goes on disability and has to go on Medicare for his healthcare. Don't you think it makes more sense to give him a chance to stay at work? What do you think would happen to YOU if you became unable to work?

OK, thagar, if you are going to write such things...please work on your spelling...THEIR garage and COMMUNISM.
