Oh yea, the reason I posted anyway.
MDDIVER, I dove for oysters a few years ago about 3 miles south of the Bay Bridge and it was a blast!
Early October, 12' of water and about 25' viz. Can't remember the name of the boat, it was an oyster rig.
If you keyword search "Chesapeake Bay oyster diving" I'm sure you'll find something.
But anyway, man, it was absolutely awesome! Probably my shallowest dive ever, but definately one of the best.
Like I said, the viz was great, there were Rockfish constantly circling me, Horseshoe crabs mating, and little jellies drifting by so close you could see the electricity pulsing inside of them!
And on top of all that, I got my fill of oysters and gobbled them all up the moment I got back home.
Definately a great time, let's go!
