well let me tell you, I was born and raised in Honduras and my father is the vice president of the only brewery in the country so I can probably answer your question. lol
There are 4 beers produced in Honduras:
1. Salva Vida
2. Port Royal
3. Imperial
4. Barena
Imperial is the strongest of all. Barena is very similar to a Corona. Salva Vida and Port Royal are the most common ones and Salva Vida is a beer that tastes great under a hot sun. Port Royal is marketed as a club-scene beer. It is by far my personal favorite.
You can find all of these anywhere in Roatan so I am not sure you would want to buy them ahead of time but thats your call. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help you out.
