I don't stay in the resorts when I travel to Roatan. I stay at Mame Tree and dive with Coconut Tree Divers. I buy beers at the store and they are cheap, cheap, cheap. Coconut Tree has a LAST DIVE happy hour and you make a donation to the beer fund and mark off the beers you drink against your account....I can't remember exactly, but I believe the beers worked out to be around .75 cents each
even cheaper.
Have fun, be safe...do take mosquito spray and Hydrocortisone cause the no seeums will get you and they itch like mad for us gringos.
