Since I live in Texas...
I always answer the door wearing a weapon on my hip.... no ifs... ands.... or buts..... there is a weapon with me 24/7/365... unless i have to go in to the bank or federal building, in which case the weapon gets put in to my speed release safe under my seat.... then when I get back in to the car... back on my hip.
