Don't fly with it sealed up.

There have been a number of instances where the computers, stored in air-tight cases which vented to equalize at the high flight altitude (~30,000'), once suddenly pressurized back at sea level, went into dive mode, thinking that sea level was actually a couple feet underwater. The battery has to be pulled to reset it, since you're not likely to be able to throw your computer up high enough to allow it to "surface" again.
