<DIV>But itisbest to get some experience in a more benign environment before you take it on. You (and your buddy) are pretty much on your own for conducting dives out there. You need to be able to follow directions (no boat DM in the water), plan your dive, manage your gas (deptjh & time), and navigate. In calm seas with light currents, it is pretty easy. In 4 foot seas and variable 1 knot currents, even experienced divers have had their skills seriously challenged. </DIV>
