I just take a piece of 1.5" PVC with a 90 degree bend and a piece of 1.5" pvc that is a few inches long....this allowsthe air to get to the foot portion....drill 3/8" holes all over it. then for the long piece you could make a small stand using T pieces and Air from the register would get into the inside of the boot......It doesnt have to be warm air, just air flowing.
