The thing is that they didn't light up the whole ocean, but perhaps my definition of "light up the ocean" is different than yours. We found that they lit up a big enough area for us to be able to explore comfortably, and gave us a great diffusion of light for photography.

<DIV>We also use these lights for day diving and they are wonderful for looking into the nooks and crannies of a reef or wreck. The white light they produce is excellent for photography and really light up the colors on the reef.</DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Lucky, IMO these lights are worth the money. The closest thing I've found to the quality of construction is a Hartenberger light, and if you think Nocturnal Lights are expensive, you should check out the Hartenbergers!! </DIV>
