lucid-i'll try and do my best on BIBR:
-they have 3 nice boats for divers. we were there in october and the resort was only about half full, and some were non divers, so we all fit onto one boat. they were very flexible with the dive sites when we were there. i didn't really care for the most part, there were just a few i wanted to go to, i just asked them at the beginning of the week and they made sure we went there. i'm sure you wouldn't have a problem requesting dive sites as long as the conditions permit.
-not sure how they group divers because we all went out on one boat, but i would imagine it is on experience and who wants to go to what sites.
-i'll be honest and say that i'm not the pickiest eater in the world. breakfast was a small menu of the usual eggs, pancakes, bagels, cereal etc. there was a small menu for lunch, the usual sandwiches, fish, burgers, chicken, salads, etc. large enough that you wouldn't have to repeat a meal if you didn't want to. dinner was a set menu, unless you had specific requests, and was different each night. an assortment of chicken, fish, steak, pork, etc. i thought that the food was very good, and it is very plentiful. my wife, who is a little more picky, also enjoyed the food very much. dinner is always served with salad, bread, and soup (which is always amazing!!!!). if you don't like what is going to be served for dinner they happily make you something else, my wife got steak again instead of fish one night. the thursday night pig roast and party is only every 2 weeks and is a must so if you decide to stay here make sure you stay during a pig roast week.

(hammock hut on the left and resturant on the right-dive shop just out of the pic to the right)
-there was no basic skills test when we were there. just the usual thing that they watch you on the first dive or two to make sure you know what you are doing and then they are pretty relaxed. the dive staff is great, very relaxed and enjoyable to be around. you take your dive gear on the first day and put it in front of the shop. they set it up for you every day after that. we rinsed and hung our own gear after diving, but if you don't want to, they rinse it and hang it in a locked room to dry overnight. (there was a basic skills test at AKR for the dolphin dive).

-other things-i know i said this before but the owners are great. there was a student staying there who had allergies to fish. the resort she was staying at before kept cooking her food in the same pots that the fish was cooked in so she kept breaking out. when she came to BIBR they used a different set of pots and made sure she didn't get any fist oils in her food. just a testament to how much they care about their customers. if you have any other questions let me know. my trip report is at home, i'll check and see if there's anything else i missed.
