My wife wanted a "good" pair of fins, so I bought her Mares Avanti Quatros. She complained of the calf pain and fatigue. So I gave her my cheapie TUSA Liberators, she said they were better, but still tiring. To make matters worse, she had ankle surgery to remove bone spurs on September, so I got her Aeris Velocity Duo's. We dove the first week of October, while she was still recuperating from the ankle surgery, and she had no complaints of pain or fatigue. The best part, I got to keep the Mares fins, which I find are very fast, but I do a lot of walking so my calf are in good shape.
