DAN Thread

Is there any possibility of getting a representative from DAN to answer questions on this forum?

Some of the things that are posted are disturbing.

Plus, it would be a chance for new divers to become familiar with, and hopefully join DAN.

I have e-mailed DAN directly for several questions and got pretty quick, and thorough responses. It wouldn't hurt to ask them to have a rep on the board and make a Medical sub-forum for those type of questions.

I've e-mailed and called DAN in the past. Everyone I've spoken with was very eager to help.

That's a great idea, and like Largo said, it could possibly encourage others to get a membership.

Dan is there to help, a sub forum would be great.Wife and I are both members, for what it costs it is a bargin IMHO

fwiw, we had a DAN forum on ScubaBoard. After months of non-response by their official representatives to questions posted there last summer - it was removed last fall after repeated alerts to them went un-answered.

Not sure if it was at their request but it's likely as that's usually the reason we will do that.
