Posting Pictures???

Is there a simple way to post a picture on this site?

I want to post something to sell and would like to post a pic, but I cannot figure out how to get one posted.

I am not real good at just figuring it out, and I thought I read a posting about how to do it, but I cannot find it now that I want to read again.

click the advanced reply button instead of post quick reply, will take you to larger area to post in then choose manage attachments button

You can also upload the picture to the ST gallery then post the link using the little "yellow landscape" button next to the "Globe with the link" button. It will be parsed into the post.

I normally use Flickr and post the links from there using the "yellow landscape" because board galleries usually give me problems.

The last time I posted a picture I went to the Go Advanced and used the attachment icon (the paperclip looking thing) at the top of the message board-it didn't attach a big picture but when you click on it, it shows a big picture-this is so much easier than downloading your pictures to another site and then having to link to it.

You have a limited amount of space on your account for attachments, so I prefer to host on my own site (not an option for everyone) or I use ImageShack® - Image Hosting for quick-and-dirty hosting of throwaway images. (and stuff I wouldn't want on my own site!)

photobucket gives you the code to post the image when you upload it... you just copy/past the code... it starts like [IMG_](no underscore) and finishes [/IMG ] or something like that...
