In addition to what the guys already said, I think the signaling lingt for night dives/surface light that replaces the tigtenig knob on your regulator is quite useful. You don't even know it's there, but it's there.

A new one we just saw and have adopted- using a sprayer to rinse off gear next to the ocean. We use a garden sprayer similar to the ones you use for round-up and such, where you put in the liquid then pump it up. much easier to rinse off the salt before it can harden onto everything.

I'm rather partial to my light. Spend a few extra bucks and got the small LED. Works great, lasts a long time, very useful. Lights are good!

I saw people use these a few times as well and was intrigued, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that for the type of shore dives I do, a simple 5-gal painters bucket with a lid does just as well or better, with a lot less hassle. Dunk the regs, camera and computer, dip the inflator, and you've hit the important parts well enough to not worry about anything until you get home. If you want, splash down the rest of the gear by dumping the bucket on it after the important stuff is rinsed. A bucket filled 2/3's full, roughly, will clean several people's critical gear this way.

You don't get enough pressure from those pressurized garden sprayers to accomplish truly significant cleaning, so you'll just have to re-do everything later anyway. No pumping, no leaks, more water, nothing really to break, less overall hassle, and cheaper.
