Brigade Clip Question

I just got a Zeagle Brigade and was trying to figure out the best place to put a clip for my gauges. There's a small female plastic clasp right above the pockets that looks like it'd be the perfect spot, but I haven't been having much luck finding a place locally that sells the male clips. I've also looked on the ST accessory section but none of them look like they're the smaller clips. Does anyone know where to get them? They're about half the size of the regular plastic clips.

Use one of these clipped off across your chest to the right shoulder d-ring.

Glance down you can read it. Enough stretch in the tubing to read the back and easy to unclip if you have a compass and need to navigate.

edit. Sorry, make it yourself. Quick link, snap bolt and a piece of surgical tubing.

I use a retractor clipped to my upper right D-ring.

I can simply glance down and read my computer and, when using my compass, I simply pull it forward.

Those clips above the pockets are for when (or if) you use a larger wing (such as the Ranger or the Tech), which clip there.

Great idea, I'll get to work on that instead. The D rings seemed a little high up since the Scubapro I got certified with had the gauge clip down by the pockets too.

Thank you!

That explains what they're there for! If both you and Splitlip have no issues with clipping it around the shoulder strap then I'm sure it's fine. Like I told Splitlip, when I got certified the gauge clip was down further so I just thought that was how it was done.

Good point.
The issue with cliipping to the right shoulder is the fact that it goes across the chest. In a rescue situation, it is another clip to open. Very observant. The surgical tubing can be broken or cut.

I clip mine off to my lower left side D ring on a retractor. When I need to check my air, I just reach down, grab my SPG, look, and put it back. I get a nice extension from there if I need to use my compass too.
I think it's mainly a matter of choice. Plenty of connect points.
