Downloader for Datamax Pro Plus II

I have a couple of questions about the Oceanlog software. First do any of you us it? Second, when looking for it, I can find the USB cable for $90 but can't really find anywhere to purchase the software. That is the most expensive USB cable I've ever heard of. Does the software come with it? Is the software worth getting and using?

Your welcome - I have used it sparingly and have yet to run in to any problems, but like any software, I imagine it is a matter of time. Take your time and set up your equipment lists/dive locations/etc. - it makes it easier filling in the dive data.

First time I used it, I was inputting manually (since I had dives without my computer) and I hurried through it and did not fill out any of the equipment as I wasnt sure what I was doing. Once I started d/l'ing my dives and got the hang of it things went pretty smoothly, but I never went back and editted the manually inputted dives.
