Barnacle Nuts

Have a new Seaquest/Wenoka/Deepsea Big Squeeze knife I want to attache to seaquest BC that has the gromets for the knife.

The Big Squeeze says that the barnacle nuts are optional, however they come with the smaller version of the knife, the squeeze lock.

Anyone ever found a place to get these Barnacle nuts? I have asked lDS and several other and cannot find them online.

Much help appreciated!!!

Doug,
You may want to try a large op that sells them in case they happen to have extras lying around (maybe Leisurepro or something like that), but I don't know how much luck you would have with that.
I've got the smaller version with the barnacle nuts on a Seaquest Balance and I think you could probably get something comparable from the local hardware store. I think that may be your best bet. Alternatively, you could probably attach it securely with a couple of zip ties as well. Hope that helps

Too Funny.

Problem is I would have to use a complete nut and bolt setup and I don't want that to rub on the BC, the Barnacle Nuts (here we go again) are encased in plastic.

You wouldn't think it would be so damn hard to get a set. Don't all divers lose things when diving? It's what makes it fun for the next diver!

Why not try using some nylon nuts and bolts from a hardware store? I'm sure you could find a size that'll fit and if they are to long they are easy to trim.

I didn't know barnacles had nuts!! Just go to the local nut and bolt store and show them what you are doing and they will set you up.

contact the manufacturer to see if you can get "replacement nuts"

if you have no luck - let me know I have a set from my small squeeze lock that I might not use since right now it is zip tied to my inflator hose
