Spearguns - traveling with

How easy is it to travel with a spear gun? Is it as simple as putting it in check-in luggage or do u need to declare it to?

You do not need to declare a diving spear gun, but it must be packed in your checked luggage (no carry on).

(Dive) knives must also be packed in your checked luggage.

Just put it in your check luggage. Unless it's a real gun no need to declare it.
