Gear cart

Has anyone made or bought a cart to get your gear from the car to the dive sight? I know they have some two wheeled gear carts at Lake Travis that look home made but thought there might be something else out there.

take a look at this, I wouldnt take it for extreme off roading but it works well for even doubles on somewhat flat ground, rated for 200 lbs and only 40 bucks. The best part about it is it folds up so it is great if you dont have alot of room for a regular dolly.

Heres the link check it out.

Is this just for your tanks or are you able to strap your BC and gear bag to it also? I was thinking more along the lines of a two or four wheeled wagon but most of what I find cost around $200.

I had one, and loved it until I broke it. It can handle doubles, but it can't handle being dropped 6 inches onto the wheels (ie. rolled off a step) while loaded with doubles. If you use it, use it gently.

I now use a much heavier collapsible hand truck that's rated for 500#.

I found this at Lowe's. I also found something similar at Costco. I didn't look at it very close but it looked nicer than the one at Lowe's and I think it was cheaper. It is not on Costco's website because they usually only put things on their website that aren't in their stores. I don't have one yet, but have considered getting one. The big wheels would make it easier to pull over rough and uneven ground.

That's the kind of thing I was thinking about. It'd be great to know if anyone has used one, how the gear fit, how stable it was on dirt, rocks or gravel by the water, etc.

link? yes I can see by its construction that it wont take a ton of abuse so I only use it for fairly flat surfaces, but would love something similar just of sturdier construction

I could probably dig up a link, but I wouldn't necessarily go with what I did... it's a little bit TOO heavy.
