Awesome deal on a "Pro Diver" watch

I mentioned in another thread that I collect watches... but I only buy things that are really reasonably priced.
I saw this on ShopNBC last night, and I fell in love with the black face with the red accent - but somehow I talked myself out of buying it.

Here is the watch: Invicta Men's Pro Diver 21-Jewel Automatic Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch ShopNBC.com

It has a Seiko 21 jewel automatic movement that winds in both directions (many japanese automatic movements only wind clockewise, which only really matters if you use a winder). It is BIG with a 48mm case size... and for a diver it would make sense as a bottom timer since it is an automatic, and you don't have to worry about batteries!

Best part is right now it is $16.66 on 6 value pays with no shipping!! That means you pay $16.66 today and get the watch sent to you... then it costs $16.66 per month for the next 5 months.

Anyway - just wanted to share my other addiction with you guys!!

Thanks for the post Aaron. Personally, I'm a Casio G-Shock kind of guy. I've had three of them and each has lasted at least 10 years. The current one is on year 12.

Not to hijack but HMC, my G-shock just gave up after nearly 15 years. Any thoughts/recommendations for a new one?

Haha, I refuse to dive with something that costs as much as a car... Cheap and functional works for me

Not sure which is worse - Aaron watches the home shopping networks, or that you can finance a WATCH

I bought a Citizen Aqualand dive watch about 20 years ago and it is still going strong. I got a deal on it and spent 75 bucks when Best products were closing out. I guess it cost me about 4 bucks a year to own. Still going strong. A good quality watch can be cheaper in the long run, especially if you can get a break on the initial price.

Haha!
I only watch the "watch related" shows...

If they sold scuba gear on ShopNBC you KNOW you'd be watching it!

Oh yeah... I think that as of midnight EST the value pays and free shipping have gone away. I would go check to verify that, but I'm browsing the net from my cell phone now - so I an't open multiple sites!

I pay for most everything in cash, if I can't pay for it in cash, that means I can't afford it.
