Anyone out there used this knife i read in a magazine that it was very sharp and cut through most items with a single motion but currious as to durability and practicality as a dive knife not just a spear fishing knife

I have been using one for several years. Yes, it holds an edge. I have touched up the edge from time to time. I mostly use it for "braining" fish. I have on occassion cut through an anchor rope or two (recovering anchors, not setting boats adrift :-).

For non-spearfishing use, I would consider a smaller knife. The silencer is a perfect size to subdueing larger fish. JM2c
