2nd Stage swivel

Has anyone purchased one of these type of items from ebay?

Scuba Regulator Octo 360 Swivel Connector 2nd Stage New - eBay (item 320395929631 end time Sep-07-09 07:24:53 PDT)

I would just get it from scubatoys, but the one that they have is a complete setup, and I love my miflex hoses. So the question is, do these perform as well (or even close too) the atomic swivel that ST has for sale?

I use a 90-degree Zeagle elbow swivel on my second stage. I use a 42-inch Miflex hose that loops under my right arm; so, the 90-degree swivel works perfectly for my needs. My octo is on a 22-inch hose, necklaced.

I use the first one you showed on my primary second. I dive a longer primary second hose so that it and my octo are under my arm. Trims nicely. I have only had it on for a short time, maybe 50-60 dives. So far no problems at all with it. I also picked up a rebuild kit for it. I am switching to a long hose soon and will then move it to my octo.

you do know there is a failure recall on a lot of the 2nd stage regulator swivels that has been released by the federal government U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

here are two of the listings. feel free to Google search for the rest of them.

The Zeagle (see above) is after-market. I have it on my Aeris Pro

I used the first one for years. Never had a problem. It's still on my old reg but I just don't dive with that setup and don't find I need it on the setup I dive now.

I know there where some problems with some swivels but I never had any issues with mine.
