Just got 2 new "dive watches" - pictures
Just wanted to share some pics I just took of my 2 newest arrivals. Both are Automatic dive watches. The Seiko just arrived today, the Invicta is about a week old.

Thanks a lot.
The Seiko needs to be "charged" - I had played with it under a black light for a while, so it kind of looks like it is glowing in those pics. Luminox watches have the gas tubes that glow at all times... don't need to be charged.

There are quite a few military watches and compasses (and gun sights) that use tritium vials for semi-permanent illumination, not just Luminox. Very few dive watches use tritium... I can only recall seeing one off the top of my head. Nice watches, though! I wish I had the wrists to pull of the orange monster, else I might have picked on up. I'd miss the depth functions on my Citizen, though. |
