Underwater Camera/Mask

Has anyone used the Liquid Image Camera/Mask, they have one that is rated to 115ft and its about 250dollars and I was considering buying it.

No I have not, but will comment that there is an inherent flaw in the design. You will rarely get good composition with a camera that is on your forehead.

I can imagine this camera/mask makes you feel like cyclops. I'd get it just for that reason alone! let me count my pennies.

IMO......... Don't buy it.

Buy a mask that fits you and does not leak. If you want to dive with a camera, buy a camera that fits with your skill and budget that is capable of the photos you want.

That thing is like one of those "A mask for three easy payments of $19.99, but wait that's not all. It's a camera too." I would really doubt if it is good at being either......

We rent these things to (primarily) our discover scuba diving students... they are very easy to use, take decent pictures and video, but it's definitely nothing great...

the one huge benefit is that you could video an entire dive and never have to worry about holding on to anything (which works great for first time divers)

neat in concept, works decent, but will never replace even a decent point and shoot...
