The manta's are great, my LDS sold me mine for a bargin because he had them for a long time and nobody wanted them. I don't get it, spring straps should be manditory equipment on fins they're that nice.
<DIV></DIV> <DIV>Of course you could make your own from stuff you get from Graingers.</DIV>

I thought they were all over, but there is a graingers near to me. They carry all kinds of stuff you can use and at good prices. I'm not sure if they have an internet catalog or not, I just call them up since we have an account at the store I work at.
<DIV></DIV> <DIV>There are plans on how to make them, it doesn't cost much and isn't that hard to do. I think if it was me and I had the posts I'd use something like a safety wire twist to lock it on the post instead of the clip which you've read can fall off if it's not under pressure.</DIV>

I was going to buy the manta springs, but then I got a look at the XS scuba spring straps. Their model includes ALL the mounts, not just one. So if you switch fins, you can trandfer the straps too. They also have a locking pin that goes in behind the post so the buckle cant slide off. ST sells them. I was going to buy them while in the shop, but I had forgotten to measure my fin. But now I have it, and I will probably order them today or tomorrow. I need to make sure therte are any other items I need to include in the order.
