horrible entanglement hazard.

if you get caught up in line its now attached to you and you cant ditch it.
also whats easier, cutting at tangled line around a prop shaft in front of you, or cutting at tangled line thats around your legs and a prop shaft at calf level?

would be fun to mess around with a little though
cant deny that

although they are way too expansive to be worth it.

Agree with paintsnow.

I think I'll take a scooter. at least if it's tangled, I can take out my trusty tool and work on untangling. Also, if the batteries die, you're stuck trying to kick with those things on. Of course, if your scooter goes dead, you're stuck luggin it along with you too.

Looks like the diving equivilent of the skydiver that got two small turbojets that he strapped to his legs and side a rather impressive pseudo-paraglide for about 10 miles. Would be fun to try, once. scare the hell out of the turtle in the promo movie.

this precludes the natural trim position with knees bent, not too mention it would be a nightmare trying to clip these off to the butt D-Ring.

Aw, come on... Who didn't ever want rocket boots? Sure they may not be all that practical, but they're under water rocket boots!!! Of course, that price tage hurts more than a D-ring in your butt.
