I got them for shore diving in Bonaire this fall & I do like the more shoe like sole on them.

I have had them for the last 2 years and they held up very well. As for the sole, it is really perfect when you have to step onto wet rocks. You can't beat the price either!

I have the taller boots with the same sole - love em...

be forewarned though, you may need a bigger fin for them to fit correctly... my Tusa Zooms fit ok (M-L size) with normal soft boots, but I need a bigger foot pocket for the Tilos boots...

My favorite booties were ones that I got in Okinawa. They had about 3/4 of an inch of heavy felt on the bottom so the sea urchin spines did not poke through on shore entries. They worked fantastic.

I got some of these for Christmas and they feel really comfortable. I can't wait to try them out in a couple weeks in Coz. I heard that sand gets in them pretty easy and can make them very uncomfortable. I hope this is not the case.

I am too. I have some tusa that a bit to big for me though. I need to drop down a size.
