I had the XS Scuba rolling backpack - purchased it as an alternative to a regular mesh dive backpack. Thought it might work better as I am short, and most of the backpacks hang too long and whack me in the back of the legs when full of wet gear ... On the 1st XS Scuba bag the wheels rusted out. But before the wheels rusted out it was a real pain to use. No handle extension so hard to balance & pull - it would either drag, or tip over the opposite way depending on the weight distribution; the backpack straps would catch under the wheels so you had to tuck them, but if you did, you couldn't just swing it onto your back when needed. It was a nicely constructed bag, but just not workable as a rolling bag .... (and in terms of travel, it was pretty heavy when you're allowed only 50# per suitcase!)
Finally after some confusion, XS Scuba sent me the Compact Deluxe Mesh Backpack, and told me to keep the 2nd rolling bag they had sent in-between (that I really didn't want - so it's somewhere in my garage.) I've only heard good things about their rolling mesh duffel, but seemed pretty big for just my gear .... however the Compact Deluxe Mesh Backpack has been about perfect size & length for a short person ... (except the no wheels! But I guess you can't have everything!!) If someone can ever figure out the balance issues and the weight issues on a good rolling backpack ... I'd be right there to buy one!

I wonder if XS would still help me. Mine is actually all scuffed from doing the "drag".

I would consider just going for a mesh backpack, especially if you want to pack if for air travel. Packing something with wheels inside your luggage will only add unnecessary weight. For the most part, when you're at a dive resort, the only time you will carry your gear is to and from your room to the boat on the first day and the last day.
