Keep accessories from sliding on webbing?

Does anyone have a slick way of securing accessory pouches to 2" webbing so that they don't slide around?

Specifically I'm thinking of the weight pouches and dive knife pouch on my hog harness.

I realize that I could just sew them in place (making field adjustment not possible). Looking for something better than sewing them them in place.

Thanks!

search for a thing called a "weight keeper" - simple plastic or metal dohickeys with 2 slots, thread one on each side of whatever to keep it from sliding on the webbing.

Large paper binder clips on both sides, clamped directly to webbing. cheap, quick remove after every dive though.

Don't waste your money on the universal clips above. They can break and don't hold especially securely.

Simple weight keepers do the job they were designed for, and are available in plastic and SS varieties.

Just as Compu said; weights keepers are the only way to go.

Weight keepers work great for holding on weights or other threaded items but I don't see how they will work for pockets with flexible loops. I have a few pockets I can slide on over the buckle - they would slide over weight keepers like they're not even there.

If the loops are too big and slide right over the keepers, a little piece of cave line or something similar tied between the two loops and passing under the keepers might help hold things in place better.

Tieing between the keepers might work. I have a pocket on the webbing of my BC and I keep it there with a bit of thin bungie tied to an adjacent keeper or ring that happened to be there already.

I think this is the way I'm headed. I originally was thinking about using belt slides to hold it in place, but ReefHound was on the money with his comment about the flexible loops sliding over the belt slides. I'll try tying a couple together with some cave line and that should work great. If I get a real burst of energy I might try sewing a short band of webbing between the two....

Thanks for the input all. I'll try and post back with the results once I give it a shot. (probably won't happen for a week or so).
