XS SCUBA Shot Pouch Belt

I recently got a black XS SCUBA with spring loaded stainless steel depth compensating buckle that I like. The concept is that only the 2" webbing is against your body not the shot pouches, and you do not have to bend over to retighten your buckle in the middle of a dive. I like the stainless steel versus plastic buckle. The stainless steel buckle though has only 2 slots vs the normal 3 slots. I also have a belt for solid weight and one of the first shot pouch weight belts made which I kept for back-up or loaner to a buddy. I paid under $48 for the belt and buckle with shipping to California. The lead costs extra. I have a friend that removes lead from indoor firing ranges that gives me lead.

Pinnacle Aquatics make great weight belt with SS buckle. I have not had any problems with it loosening up on me.
  • Weight pouches can accommodate both block and shot weights
  • Pouches are strong and large enough to hold 7 pound weights
  • Pouches are self draining
  • Velcro closures keep weights securely in pouches
  • Sturdy, corrosion-free stainless steel buckle
  • Rubber strip inside belt prevents slippage
  • Two D-ring attachment points
  • Available in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-pouch sizes
  • Available in Black, Royal Blue, and Neon Yellow

+1 for the XS Scuba belt. Very comfortable, and super easy to swap weights around when weighting requirements change (wet to dry, salt to fresh, 7mm to 3mm, etc.). And you can use hard weights, and still have it be reasonably comfortable, and thus ignore any issues with lead dust and the environment, and drying out soft weights.
