September AOW class - Scuba Forum

Thought I'd start a thread here for the folks that are going to be taking or thinking of taking the AOW class in September thru ST, I'll be there, sporting my NEW Zeagle Brigade from ST!!

I'm taking mine, but with my LDS in Hershey, PA!

Looking forward to not having to lie about my not having my AOW card for advanced dives! (the dog ate it, left it in my other wetsuit)

I can only wish I had the time to dive more never mind take another class!!!!

I was supposed to do mine last weekend, but it didn't work out. I've always said that I don't need AOW, and I probably don't (skills wise). But I would hate to try to go dive somewhere and get refused simply for lack of the card. So since I was going diving anyway, I decided I would get the card. Oh well, maybe next time.

I'll be gone most of the month. Part of it will be spent diving in Grand Cayman and Coz. I can't wait!

If they could do it Saturday morning till Sunday at 3 PM, I'd come take it from Mississippi.

I got off at 5 Friday, 6 hour drive there. go to sleep, wake up early that morning, do the test, go over the skills and then Sunday, do the dives (maybe Saturday afternoon/night) and then drive home at 3 PM and make it home by 10.

If they could do that, I'll come.

Class night is mon dive days sat and sun you could be out by 3 pm sun but mon night class may be tough.

Sept class is Tuesday night due to Labor Day...

I need to talk to Joe and Larry, see if I can get it switched.

Or I could get full access to the webcam and listen to the class on the phone and participate that way.

Tuesday, do the class work and then drive over Friday.
