Great site

Under the heading - EMERGENCY ASCENTS
Did you catch the pic of the nice asscent?
&
A bit unclear what they were trying to convey here with the " Breath holding line"?? any clues??

"If you develop any symptoms of impending blackout, dizziness, confusion, euphoria, weakness, visual disturbances, during a dive, or you think you wont make it to the surface on your own power, make yourself buoyant. Breath holding is a conscious effort. After making an uncontrolled ascent, rest on the surface and check for injury."

A lot of excellent techniques described. And that's the key..they're described. The only way to truly learn these, such as in water Resuscitation is to learn them in a training environment and practice them. I recommend a Rescue Scuba Diver cert from a recognized agency.

I totally agree. Rescue certification is targeted for December. Have dry suite this month and AOW in November.
