PADI AOW - Pic Card

Hi all,

As I am about to start my AOW class tonight & I was checking my budget ( ), I was just wondering if I need to pay for another Pic Card or if the pic card I paid for when I paid my OW card course fees covers that too.

Thanks

Depends on the shop... We include the certification on all our classes included in the class price - but shops are free to do what they want.

Most shops as you progress through certf. levels that have an ID card you pay each time for a new PIC card for your new certf. level.

the OW pic/fee that goes to PADI is unrelated to the AOW one or any other, a new fee is paid for each card. Whether a shop includes the fee in the class price is separate matter and something only they can tell you.

If it's the same shop and they didn't include it for the first class, they probably aren't including it for this one. Some shops break things out ala carte so the price for the class will look a little lower. Just like some will include the book and some will not.

I've never run across a shop that didn't include it in the course fee, but I have seen several shops advertise on the Internet that you will need to pay a fee. So, Damselfish described what I've noticed.

do you generally take a new pic for new cert cards, or just use your old one? because my OW card is LITERALLY the worst picture i've EVER taken.

i believe my card is included, but would i have to pay any extra if my LDS updated my photo do you think?

I hope so, the last c-card photo I had made me look like a total dork!

In actuality, a new picture is needed for each card. At least that's the way PADI does it.
