I put the order in today. I figure that it won't show up on the credit card bill until early Dec, so I have some time to come up with a good explanation. I don't suppose "Honey, I saved us $400 on a flashlight" is a good start, is it?

Looks like it has a "6 degree beam - non focusable". Isn't 6 degree what most of the HID are? This should be a good light for the money - just trying to convince myself it worth the trade off with the wife - because if I get this she will want something in return.

I like the specs, and to be honest I'd be very temped once my HID dies, but until then I'll keep waiting. I do like it though and envy fisheater.
