Oceanic and Aeris old computers

I guess old. I am talking about the Aeris Savant and the Oceanic XTC-100. I've had the Savant for years, and like it very much....so much that when an XTC-100 came available, I bought it! I thought the computers were exactly the same, just marketed through different channels. While I now believe they are essentially the same, in that they have similar programming, I am finding the user interface is very different, and the XTC-100 does not even seem to follow the manual that is out on the Oceanic web site. The serial number for the XTC-100 is 001410 088. Any thoughts, anyone?
