Atom 2.0 - Possible to read maximum temperature?

I noticed in my Atom 2.0 that I could only see the minium temperature when reviewing the dive logs. Is there a way to view the maximum or average temperature as well?

Actually, it's quite easy. One way is to go into the dive details and sort by temp. This will easily give you the highest and lowest temp, along with the depth and time that it occured. If you want the average, download the data and open with Excel (or better yet... Google apps spreadsheet...) and preform the calculation. This dive watch really rocks and the software (latest version!) is great for a log book!

Why do you keep a log book? I understand the reasoning behind a book to capture the details of what dive you did, where, what you saw, etc. But what will the data tell you over time from the watch? If your air consumption is getting better? Not trying to be negative - just wondering why folks find value in it.

I guess to be like the Jones... everyone else is doing it! HA! I'm actually with you on this one. I started diving over 10 years ago and before the computer, I failed to keep any written log books. I guess if you are someone who likes to go back to that for some reason... it is for you. I tried to think of a reason - like so you know the site next time or something... but if it has been that long that you can't remember, forget your log book and talk to a dive master that has recently experienced that site...

Now, if a dive shop wants to see my log book to determine my experience, I just tell them how many dives (approx) and say they are all on the computer. JUMP IN!

Thanks guys!

Yes I myself am not quite sure of a definitive reason for keeping log books, however I am keeping my one updated anyway, just for keepsake. One day I may find it useful, and even if I dont, well at least I have something to look back on when im bored!

I cant wait until they come out with a newer version of the software. THe first version sucked. The second version is good. But I just wished they hire someone with a bit more design/artistic skill because right now the interface looks like something from my Commodore 64 ehehehhe it does the job though

I'm come across a couple of dive ops that want to see my log book before doing offshore diving -- shipwrecks at 100ft+ 30 miles off shore. That's about the only reason I keep one, and I just use the Oceanlog software now.
