I was fortunate enough to be invited as a guest speaker at the Oceanic Conference in Australia - and spent a week down there with Mike Hollis and Doug Krause. Mike is Bob Hollis' son (Bob Hollis owns the football... oceanic, aeris, hollis, etc.) Basically Doug and Mike are responsible for bringing the line to the public.

They had final prototypes of all the gear down there and we got to see everything, touch feel, etc. Very nice stuff - well made. It will be great to have a tec line from a company that excels in customer service and knows how to manufacture and stock popular products.

Many of the tec companies now don't actually make their stuff - they job it out and sometimes supply can be a bit difficult... So I'm really looking forward to this stuff hitting the market.

They plan on rolling it all out at Dema in November... but maybe some stuff will be available before that.. hard to say right now.

Rest assured, as the largest single dealer for their products in the country, we will have the full line as soon as we can!

This is too exciting! Oceanic is extending their empire to tech gear. I like their existing line, which they think from the diver's point with prices that are very reasonable. I'm really looking forward to the Hollis launch. Keep us posted, Larry!

I've been hearing rumors that the Omega II regulators were going to be re-introduced... Any chance they might be part of the Hollis line?

They didn't have anything like that at the conference, but I'll get in touch with Doug as soon as he gets back from his sales meeting and find out for you.

We have batted the reintroduction of an Omega product around for a few years. Last year at our sales meeting we viewed early graphic drawings of a potential Omega III. Great lines and really futuristic looking. I will say that Bob and most of us within the family of companies love the servo-valve regulators and one company or another will have an Omega style regulator some time in the future. I will make a call on Monday and get a more definative answer on whether or not the Hollis line will have this product.

That fin looks pretty cool....like a futuristic Jetfin...wonder if it'll be as negative as the Jets or neutral. Will definitely have to check that out as a replacement for my Jets if they are more neutral.
