Atmos 2 - Problems with DC

Hi! Has anyone had this experience with their Atmos 2 DC?

I went diving last March. The DC worked great. After diving I compared temps with my dive buddy. No problems. When I got back to my room, my DC was frozen to the Time to Fly screen. Next day it still was stuck. I removed the battery, left it out for ~1/2 hour, and replaced with a new one. Now my DC counts down (as if it were going to start) and then flashed AdC 5x's then shuts off.

It is out of warranty and I hate the idea of sending it in for ~$200.00 to fix it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Cheers!

Wouldn't be near $200 to fix... we were selling new ones for just over that. Probably looking around 80 bucks. Still not great... but better eh?

Thanks Larry! I just checked with Aeris and it will be ~$120 return shipping included. Not sure if I will send it in or not yet. This would be for backup only.

Uh yea... but see... that's what they are charging you... You are one person... you don't get the discount that we do... if you sent it in through us, it would be under $100...
