I live in South Carolina and am pretty new to diving. I'm planing a road trip down to the keys, and thought that I might try my hand at lobstering while I'm down their. I was just wondering what everyone thought were the best warm water lobstering gloves out their. I am currently looking at the ONeill 1mm Explore Kevlar Gloves found at Buy Oneill Explore kevlar gloves 2392 with reviews at scuba.com (http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-114/019243/ONeill-1mm-Explore-Kevlar-Gloves.html) and will probably get those unless someone changes my mind. If you think that their is a superior pair of gloves out their for my needs, let me know.

Those are the exact gloves I was going to recommend when i saw the title of this thread. They are great for protecting your hands while grabbling lobsters or crabs.

I've read a number of reports from serious buggers who use super cheap, heavy-duty leather work gloves for lobstering in warm water.

Don't "plan" too long. Less than 3 weeks to close of the season.

better hurry i would go with the leather gloves cheaper and you don't have to wait for shipping

If you haven't gotten any gloves yet and are planning to go this fall check out Akona bug hunter gloves. I have a pair that have endured a couple of seasons of snatching the spiny little guys!

Happy hunting!

For warm weather plain old leather gloves toss 'em at the end of the season.
