We are starting to get hammered with another foot+ of snow. And yet again, this weather pattern originated in Texas. I am getting sick and tired of Scuba Toys sending this weather my way, and then offering to sell me SCUBA gear. How about a snow shovel? A pair of mittens? A deal on road salt?

Then again, a SMB might help my wife find me after the plow goes by and buries me while shoveling the driveway. If I haven't posted in a few days, send out a search party!:smiley5:

Hmm, never heard of anything coming from Texas. Usually its you canadians sending the crap down here at us!!! ;)

If it makes you feel better, we have a small chance of snow (for the first time all winter) in the morning. Im not sure what Im going to do...!

We actually had snow flurries here in Columbus, Georgia yesterday morning. Didn't last long, the wind blew it all toward the Northeast !

That's what I love about living in the south of western canada.. we'll have a few days of snow then it turns to slush and disappears. The only thing you have to worry about here is the rain.

I lived in Anchorage in the early 90s since my dad was in the Air Force. We were there when Mt.Spurr erupted which was pretty cool, though messy.

I really miss the place, but that's also because I was a kid and didn't have to pay for everything. :smiley36:

What's snow?:smiley16:

being originally from Florida I enjoyed not having to deal with the slush, salt on the roads and in the wheel wells of the car, shoveling the front walk, scraping ice off the windshield of the car, etc..etc..etc

but I do remember when I was about 10 or so it snowed in Tampa, FL....couple of inches and actually stayed on the ground until about noon or so...we all made little snowmen at school...my Mother still has a picture of me with a 12" snowman in front of a palm tree

correction...this got me thinking and I googled it and it was Jan 19th, 1977..I was 14 and it's officially listed as .2 inches of snowfall....ok so it was less then 2 inches but I remember building the snowmen and the picture and the whole excitement of the day......years later I lived in Mich and grew to really, really hate the stuff...

Just rub it in some more :smiley11:....
It's snowing AGAIN!!! It looked like spring for about a week and now more snow. I think I need to move to the caribbean, I've had it with global warming not happening here.

It was 80 degrees here in South West Georgia at 7:15 pm (4/25/08) and yesterday it was 84 degrees at 7:05 pm. Snow....not hardly....maybe once every couple or few years....we get "ice" storms more often than snow...but not this time of year !!!
