I've downloaded GiMP, and it seems to have alot of the same tools and "stuff" that Photoshop does. I'm no expert though, the problem is, i'm not real good at all this stuff. I've used the basic correction software that came with my camera, and i'm just wanting to learn more. Unfortunately i can't see spending the kind of money on software such as PS, or PS elements, so does anybody have any experience with this program, and where can i get some tips on using it, and especially for working with U/W images.

hmmm... I've used it for a long time, the linux version at least...

as with most software, playing with settings and filters and such is the best way to learn...

I've used the Linux version as well, and you'll see a thread from near the start of the board where I suggested it's usage, in the free software. I think it's a very good photoshop clone.

GOOGLE is your friend... Do a Google search on "gimp tutorial" and you will be rewarded.
