Nice set - can't help you with ID of your little shrimp. Do you have weedy sea dragons where you live - one of my dream creatures to capture someday : )

Thanks for the comment.
we actually have the weedy sea dragons quite commomly at my home dive sites , within 15 mins drive from my house .

i found this guy on the weekend

and i even had a model with me

tthis weedy was behaving weird, he was swimming up in the water colum with no prompting from us , they normally will stay much closer to the reef surface .

Great Shots!!! Exposure and colors are spot on.

Not sure about the shrimp... I would guess it is a juvinile of some sort of coral shrimp but this is just a guess. Great FIND...very small.

Oh.. the Sea Dragons rock!!

Thanks for answering the request - I love your "weedies". So do you have a spare bedroom for Dave and I to come visit? :smiley2: I can't offer much diving in Dallas - but we have great BBQ:smiley20:

well a lot of people come to Australia to dive the great Barrier Reef which is on the north eastern coast of Australia , we live 200km south of sydney on the coast . Jervis Bay has amazing temprate water reefs . with huge boulders and very nice walls and sea caves we also have amazing macro life and cool critters like the weedy sea dragon and others .

well worth the visit if you like your temprate water diving ,

thanks for the kind words folks
