That's a little less than $1000 an hour. Aren't there some ladies making more than that in DC?

Since Clinton left, it is doubtful! :smilie39:

Didn't he offer her like $50M before and she turned it down? Now she really looks like a gold-digger AND she got less for her troubles.

edit: I just watched some of her interview on yahoo news - she seems to be justifying it all with her robin-hood'esque "now I can help my charities" diatribe.

Lordy, lordy. I'd give anything to know how many times he got some from her over the years so that one could figure out how much it cost him each time on average. You talk about a high-priced -----.

The news blips I read said that she got a bit less than she wanted, but at that level of stupid money she'll still be insanely wealthy, as will her offspring.

The public opinion on both her and Sir Paul as this starts winding down should be interesting.

The tabloid opinion of her is already pretty such set in stone in the UK - easy target.

I think she was moaning about it a few months ago - something about people having a lower opion of her than if she was a murderer.

He's done OK out of it, could have been worse, pretty much seen like a top bloke in the UK still - I thought he actually offered her more a while back, and then she came up with the insanely high 250mill.

It's not my money so whatever she got is fine by me. I don't think there's a reason to say she should have got more or less, somehow she justified to the judge what she needed and that's what she got.

It's amazing to me that a person can be worth that much.

The judge should have put a value on being married to a Beatle. Then she would owe him money. Women at one time would have given their lives for that chance.

This was what made me realize she was just a gold digger:

"He likes her to fly five times a year on holiday," Mills said of McCartney. "It's 17,000 for two people return (round-trip) first class, so that's obviously not meant to happen for her anymore. It's very sad."

She is being given 1.2 million dollars a year, maybe she should cover the ticket.

No person is worth that much. They may have that much, but it doesn't make them "worth" that much. :smiley2:

I think the taboid opinions of her all across the world were set when the news of the divorce first came out and he offered her 50 mill and she countered with 250 mill.

She's been an easy target in the US tabs for a long time.

That is very true...that is why I can't understand why everybody makes a big deal out of some politician paying for what he isn't at home.
