If you could dive anywhere you want, what would be the "end all" dive trip for you? Forget cost, experience, training, gear, etc. Where would you go and why?

Me? Thanks for asking!:smiley14:. I'd go Antarctica. 800 foot vis and sponges the size of small houses just get my blood going. Plus, there'd be penguins. Can't go wrong with penguins!!!

thousands of feet down to those underwater oceanic vents full of undiscovered marine life.

I don't know that any dive would be considered the 'end all' dive, but I would love to just take a year off to just hit every spot I could think of.

If I had to choose one destination, I'd love to dive the galapagos.

I'll second the Galapagos...after seeing a 3-D I-Max film about it a few years ago, I was totally blown away.

Personally, I like the idea of having my own yaht/dive boat and dive the world. Seems like I will run out of places to go in my lifetime. We will see how many I can hit.

So many it's hard to say. Toping my list is Truk and Bikini. Wouldn't be the end all but it would make my day.

Pretty much any cave that's never been dived before.

As a history buff and Wreck Diver, I would like to dive the wreck of the HMAS Sydney - She has never been found, she engaged and destroyed a german raider off of Western Australia in WW2 she was a light cruiser not a single survivor was ever found of near 400 crew. She destroyed the disguised raider but was wounded and was last seen sailing over the horizon on fire according to german survivors.

The raider was also supplying Japanese submarines. Their are lots of stories including a report from one of the german sailors in a life boat abound machine gun fire the night the Kormoran was sunk.

I think I would like to be one of the first to dive her if she was found to see if she had been torpedoed.

I have to go with the Great barrier Reef. But all those places sound great, maybe someday will be able dive them.

Keep doing what I am do as I am living the dream. Business trips take me to Asia. On the return to TX, I stop in places such as Palau, Indonesia, Yap and Guam. I've got it made

The end-all dive would be to find an undiscovered wreak like John Chatterton and Richie Kohler did or as Krakenn is describing.

Now that would be an adventure!!

Pretty much any cave that's never been dived before.

That could very well be the end-all trip...as in it could end it all. ;)

Let me re-phrase that, hehe. That could be an end-all trip for me, since I'm not cave certified and don't quite know all of the ins-and-outs of cave diving.

Okay :D It's actually the outs you need to know. Cave diving is all about getting out alive!

Anywhere that I could find some nice sunken treasure... w\salvage rights... and enough gold\silver\something valuable where I could buy my own island(s) and retire as soon as the dive was over....

If not that maybe Ireland…

And if not that

Off the back of my pop’s boat… love diving with my pop doesn’t matter where it’s at…

Safe Diving , Good buddys, good eats & drinks (after for the drinks)… that’s a good day of diving.

One of my dream dive trips would be to spend the summer diving the wrecks in the Great Lakes that are divable . Then start planning for my next dream trip.

I would love tp dive with a whale shark. Not a whale shark trip, where they go and "hunt" for them and then stick you in the water with a snokle, I want to be diving and then just see one. That would be incredible.

i don't think i could ever define a true "end-all" experience, but i do want to dive in the pacific at some point...while the caribbean is nice and easy i'm ready for a change of pace...maybe after saving up for a couple years (but that means stop taking trips now, whoops!)
