Has anyone used/known someone that used the Intova IC600? Its listed at around $170, which seems unusually cheap, but could be a steal. If its no good, is there another good digital camera for around $200-$250 that would take good recreational photos? Thanks.

It's a cheapo. Cheap digital cameras are tough to use on land. Factor in low light conditions under water, and hang it up. If you want a cheap camera and can bump up the price to $300, Id look at this set up:
