This was the first such event at the lake, and plans are being made to hold another one next year. As far as other dive events, I don't know of anything formal, but there are always get togethers- almost every weekend- at the lake. On occasion folks will camp for a weekend to get a good amount of diving in. Send us a PM if you are looking for regular dive buddies, if we aren't at the lake, we will direct you to others who will be!

can anyone provide vis and temps in lake pleasant recently

Temps are around 62 on the surface, and dropping to the mid 50's at the thermocline (usually around 40 ft.) The busier the lake, the less of a thermocline is noticed, and the lake is warming up due to the nice hot weather we've had lately. Visibility is 5-20 feet depending on the location and the boat traffic, mostly right in the middle of that range though.

Hope that helps!

will a 7mil wetsuit be enough to dive in lake pleasant in the cold months? (dec, jan, feb)

i dive there during summer and a 3 mil shorty's just fine.
