Both DH and I finished our DM last night :smiley36:. Took nine months but that was because I was not allowed in the water for 3 months.

Thinking about going on to AI and Instructor. Have a meeting at the shop tonight. DH says he is done for now but that he would be glad to serve as slave labor for me.

Congrats!

I decided DM is far enough for me, also. I'm not so into the teaching thing that I feel the need to take on the extra liability and expense. It's not like I'm going to make any money at it, so I'd rather continue diving for me and doing DM work when the mood strikes, or when friends are taking classes, etc.

Congrats !!!!!!

I am a DM, when I was more active with classes and teaching I enjoyed it.....but got sorta bored with it after a few seasons and had no interest in becoming an instructor. So I took up technical diving and have loved that decision ever since!

Have fun with your new Pro level and best wishes!!

Good for you. I hope you make it to Instructor if that is where you want to be.

Congrats.

It is such a good feeling when you finally complete everything and send in the papers.

Congrats!

When I was finishing up a bunch of specialty certs. last weekend, my instructor heavily encouraged me to try for DM. Hadn't planned or thought much of it sooner, but now . . . hmmmm.

(But, first Rescue!)

Congrats from a recent DM myself. (Feb) Once I scrap up enough cash, I'll proceed with Instructor.
